I hadn't been able to get in my craft space last week as I'd been busy doing other things like organising my eldest daughter to go on a school trip to Germany - so nothing new to post. But managed to get up there on Sunday and get a card making fix. Phew.
I wanted to do a "Thankyou" card for the leaders at my youngest daughters playgroup as she is leaving in July to go to School in September. I can't take credit for the blackboard idea as I've seen it done on many websites and thought it was cute.
I stamped Tilda with Balloon using versafine smokey grey, but missing out the balloon part and watercoloured her. Cut two squares one black one brown to make chalk board and mounted onto the K and Co backing paper on the front of the card. Wrote on the black card with a white sharpie to look like chalk. Added flowers, rik rak, brads and buttons to finish - oh and of course a bit of glitter to Tilda and a cocktail stick to point.

Hi Louby, glad you're back and I hope your DD got off ok? Love your card today, so pretty and a fantastic idea even if the inspiration came from another. You have such lovely handwriting too, perfect card for the teachers.
Well, Louby I am falling more and more in love with your cards!
I hope someday you won't get mad at me for borrowing your ideas!
