Gorjuss Birthday Card

Made this card over the weekend. My eldest daughter claimed it for her upcoming Birthday as she said she loves it.
Just love these little girls - so sweet.
Stamped and coloured image with Copics. Layered her onto nestability ovals and Papermania "Rose Garden" paper. Used my Martha stewart Doily punch on a strip of pink card, added the flowers, punched leaves, buttons, ribbon,Stickles glitter glue and "Rose Garden" sentiment to finish.

Also made a card for the Magnolia challenge and the Friday sketchers challenge ( 2 in 1) which is so organised for me. Will post later in the week.

Thanks for looking, Have a Lovely day.

Mothers Day Gorjuss Girl.

Got myself organised and made a Mothers Day card for my Mum. Used this Gorguss Girl (Poppy Fields) and coloured her with Copics. Layered her onto Nestability ovals and then onto a card covered with backing paper (Daisy Plaid by Make and Create) and layered green ribbon and little white material flowers.
For the embellishments I punched the flowers  from white card and leaves from green card to match the flowers on the backing paper. I Scored each petal a little at the point and  pinched them up to add some dimension (a tecnique I saw in the Magnolia magazine - coz I never would've thought of it myself)  I added the green ribbon and bow, the sentiment (printed on PC) and glitter to the flower centres.

Below is a close up of the punched flowers

Well hope to be back soon with another post, Thanks for Looking

Gorjuss Little Star Girl

Aren't these stamps just so sweet. Made another card for the birthday box with Little Star Gorjuss Girl. I coloured her with Copics (still trying to get the shading business right) Covered the card with backing paper, both out the same book but forgot to look at what company it is from! (It's up in the loft) Will look next time I'm up in there if I remember and update then.

Added the punched stars, ribbon and sentiments to finish. I outlined the scalloped oval in white pen just to make it stand out a little more. The starflower shaped sentiment is from Craftwork cards and the Celebrate one was a freebie from a magazine.

Below is another picture of her taken with the flash on that  shows off her lovely sparkle.

Hope your weekend hasn't flown by too fast like mine seems to have done! Thanks for looking,
